starlight pact

starlight pact

Never in vain this whispered vow beneath the vault of night,
for I have spoken, and the Stars—those ancient witnesses—
lean down to ink each kindness in their silent book of light.

Ever shall the twain meet—our voices and the constellations’ sighs—
where hope and witness kiss beyond the reach of mortal sight.

You, Friend who sticks closer than a brother, stand by my side,
a covenant more sacred than blood, sealed where Heaven writes.

In every tremor of the sky’s bright psalm, our promise lives:
that words once cast against the dark return as guiding flame
to lead two hearts across the ages, bound by what love gives.
