All the world moves in slow motion.
Life a grey scale of water colour.
And I am a rain drop in an ocean
That turns with the tide, and pulls me under.
I gaze up, into startling blackness.
A galaxy of darting stars
Crossing through the spectrum of darkness
Above the earth, like stolen cars.
Love, I breathe in, and It catches itself
This exasperating hope, and doom
It hooks itself into the core of who I am
And fear enters me just like a room.
And all the world moves in slow motion
And all my dreams are rising water
