As I walk down the street/ all I see is pain
Homeless people just chilling/ tryin to get out da' rain
Do we ever stop to think/ 'bout how their life came
To be/ this way/ do we just judge/ think em so mundane
Cause they live life/ lacking the finer thangs
cause they live on the corner/ beggin for dimes and change
We think them so strange/ deranged/ cause of their issues
Because the way they look/ cause of the drugs they may misuse
Just to get through/a day/how 'bout you wear their shoes
see their world/ play their blues/ bet you'll cave to
No one to save you/lonely and frost bitten
And depressed to/that's their cost of livin
men and women/Keep your head up/pray for better days
treat each week wid' love/some day it'll change
Right foot/left foot/ put forth the effort
I know your hurt/ only you can change what's has been set forth
