A tiny milky ball of fur
Shaky, mewling,
Paws a whirr
Buzz sawing lengths of happiness
Bundled beneath my daughter's dress
And

“Can we keep her daddy please?”…. pink nose and eyes so bright
I do try to say no….with all my might

“Oh another damned cat….

And they make me sneeze!”
