Don’t ever tell me you’ll call me,
When you know you won’t.
Don’t ever tell me you need me,
When you know you don’t.
Don’t ever tell me I’m yours,
When you know I’m not,
Don’t ever tell me I’m sexy,
When I’m not even hott.
Don’t ever tell me you’ll wait for me,
When I know you’ll be gone.
Don’t ever tell me you’ll sing for me,
When you don’t know my song.
Don’t ever tell me you love me,
When you know you’re lying.
Don’t ever tell me I’m fine,
When I’m laying here dying.
Don’t ever tell me…anything.
OoO...i like this lots. I can relate too and i think you described the feeling really well. The structure and repetition were very effective. The last stanza was my favourite.
Good job!

WOW!
You've described my x-sweetheart to the letter and so eloquently.
are you sure you're not her?
she forced me off my last web site
Amen! My thought, "I've known guys like this! I totally agree!" and my mood was irritated and disgusted by those guys. So, this poem must have reached inside to some deep recognition of not wanting to ever interact with liars again.
