you told me you would go along

with anything, thats not wrong

or reject how u felt,

so i wrote you this song......



the sun came up the other day

i could swear it had something to say

to u and me, about are loving way

it shined through the window

tapped me on the shoulder

said "have u told her"

no not yet but i'm scared

then it grew brighter and glared

with a booming voice it blared



hopefully you will

what if this is your last chance

to go and ask

the woman you love to inhance

you relationship to the next glance

hopefully you will

tell her how u feel

to make it all unreal

hopefully you will



i stepped amoung the rocks

in your drive way,

walking towards the door locks

so i can tell u before my mind blocks

the right choice, sweaty socks

shaky hands, throat is dry

thinking of leaving a note

saying i came by

to scared to knock

what if shes with a guy

i know your not

but i would die

my heart is pounding

through my chest

i need a life vest

to save me from

not doing my best

then the sun burned my neck

and a booming voice said......
