Blockbuster
We like to brag to other couples in line that we too
are just doin' the movie night at home.
It left me wondering if it were such
a triumphant feat or just some romanticized,
tawdry label strewn across the forehead
of our age old love to ward off vultures
from picking at our remains...
neither of us wanted that.
With that in mind I picked out a bag of peanut M&M's,
placed them up on the counter next
to our 'previously viewed' selections
and rubbed the small of your back.
