an odd synchronicity
follows a preordained schedule,
a hidden agenda, to some;
others, scoff at the incongruity
in such fanciful notions
as the tides of destiny
and it's irrisistible forces.
Yet, what at first seems folly
rights itself in the order of fate,
bringing us what we need most
exactly when we need it,
and in this time, this moment...
I am at once tranquil and ebullient,
serene and effervescent,
ecstatic and content.
For what better time than now
to be with one so loved?
No better place could I envision
than to be right where I am tonight.
None other than your heart
could beat so tenderly with mine...
and here and now, recorded in time
my love for you is endless.
