Like a thief in the night.
Robbing me of reason.
Stealing my will.
Coloring my world.
Filling my sight.
My soul reaches out
With every fiber of my being.
I yearn for your nearness
With every breath I am taking.
No matter how different the roads we travel...
No matter how long it's been....
No matter how much has changed...
Still these feelings dwell deep within.
Far apart our lives have taken us,
Though life goes on and time passes by.
What is this hold you have on my heart?
I still can't help wondering why.....

I know this feeling, you have expressed it well. The saddest part is that we may never have the chance to love that person again ... although I hear that many old flames are using the Net to find each other after many years, and re-kindle the passions that they once knew.
The flip side is that existing marriages are failing because of this.
