Eternity Until Tomorrow

English is English,

Until it is spoken in America.

Mary was a virgin,

Until you take into account the birth of Jesus.

Friends are fatherly,

Until they become lovers,

Angels look down into our souls,

Until Ahteism consumes them.

Our legacy is contemplated,

Until we confront the fact,

That we will be fearful,

Until after our deaths,

The belittled dust

Of an ageless atmosphere,

Bears our finger prints,

Which with luck,

Will be the breath of our descendants,

Who think,

Even after we have become nothing.

Empires fall and collapse,

The Hapsburgs are secure though,

For the King of Spain still reigns,

The Bourbon King.

Children still give birth in time,

And evolution

Is still debated

Between freaks

Between us

I speak to Jesus,

And to be frank,

He should go to confession.

I really liked this poem. It made me think of the differents sides of people and their opinions. Thank you for a new way to look at life.
