We are so selfish; we don’t see what's around
People in need who can't afford food
People who freeze sleeping on the ground
We are so absurd not hearing a sound
We pretend we are blinded
So amused so enchanted
"The world is a mess" we say
But we are the mess today
We ruin our own lands
And still not lending a hand
We see the world burning
We walk away turning
We say we want to be set free
But we are our own prisoners
We can fly on a count of three
But we are not listeners
We see flames
Instead of turning it down
We pass the blames
That’s not the world we want to remember
Every day, every December
This is not the life we want
Let's turn it around
And make this wonderful world of our surround
In our imagination it was created
In our own eyes it was celebrated
With no hate, well educated
Respect is the only thing we pass
Then comes love not our mass
This is the world I beg for
Walking into just one door
A world of imagination and Peace
Where everyone's pain decrease
