I'm waiting

I'm real and I am here

No hoax or trick

I am but a simple truth

A living ghost of love forgotten

In these all too busy times

All too often passed over

You grow older, colder

More alone

And for no good reason at all

But your pride

You think I play a game?

A mere child's game?

I assure you

I most clearly do not

No vampire scammer here

To drain you of your

Hard for life's savings

Just the missing part of you

So desperately

In the long, lonely nights longed for

Buried in your memory

In your subconconius

I'm still there

If you will just remember

I know 

Completely you have not

You cannot have forgotten

The love

The joy we once shared

Two hearts united

As one

Forever we promised

Eternal that vow

We shall keep

I belong to you

You to me

Today, tomorrow and yesterday

I love you

I always will

Let that in your heart

In your soul

Never fade

Raise us from an untimely grave
