So many humans
Often seems like so little time
Caught in the eye
Trapped in their race
Running in place
This web far too sticky
Good lord
How did I end up
With this respondabilty
I am one
Just one
And they are millions
More and more millions
Billions everyday
Crowding it
Emotions in turmoil
Life's feeling
Boiling like water
On fire just beneath the fleshy surface
Earthbound assigment
At all costs
Keep all control
Till his long awaited return
No more
And no less then this
Mankind is a beast
One that must be gently handled
Lest he begins
To quake and rage
Bringing untold disasters and wars
Down upon the heads of itself
Our most precious experiements
And so I am the Time Walker
The mystic gate keeper
My fate forever
A part of their own
We are bound together on this path
Destination unknown
Man and his true maker
A secret carefully guarded
Till comes a moment and a time
He can best
Take on who and what he truely is
His purpost upon this earth
