The Corona Prayer
The lies told grow worse day by day
How can they do this to their fellow human beings?
Every moment the fear crawls as the infection spreads
Can we really keep on this way?
Over and over again misled down the path of false harmony and security
Running against a hourglass quickly losing its sand
Onward our mortal coil travels towards an uncertain future
Nowhere it appears to turn for the truth we crave so desperately
Allowed only the misinformation for a meal they feed us
Poison of paranoia fills the air
Reckless some believe it is all just a made up hoax
And so we pray as we wonder what horrors the future may well bring
Yearning for a cure or at least some better info with which to protect ourselves
Eager for any real answers we can get
Slowly falling to our kness to pray we or our loved ones are not....
