Under the smooth surface
Beyond all the past heavy drinking
Who is the true man?
Monster or myth?
Who in these times can be believed?
For once
Is a man accused telling the truth?
So many tales
Many unheard
Pushed to the way side
It's scary
How little we really do know
Will he be confirmed?
And if so what will the fallout be?
Will women be consumed by their hate?
Or will reason and good sense have its day?
As we wait to hear
One way or the other
So many of us question
What has become of our precious justice system?
Where do women's rights march on from here?
And per chance
The most dangerous and unanswered question of them all....
