I thought I met you once before,
But it was only just a glimpse.
And nothing more
No this is like the blackest whole,
The shortest fuse,
A darkened soul
The empty shadows of a maze,
The brokenness
As love just fades..
I’ve realized what heartache brings,
The coldest winds,
Soft violin strings
Is it you, or was it fate,
The storm subsides,
I don’t relate.
I have realized the loneliness,
The one from before,
The one I only glimpsed…
And nothing more.
