Isn't it funny
how it starts out..love?
How it feels like forever,
then you just give it up.
I guess I should have seen it coming,
Somehow I knew you were just liking the now,
So you spent your day pretending you were single again,
Did it feel good? Take you back to old times, back to the hood?
Then take it and leave me alone,
don't play on both sides,
Have some dignity and allow me mine,
I'm done being treated poorly and hurting all the time.
Did you get your fill? Was it all it could be?
I hope that it was because you're not getting anymore of me.
