Release Me



I think you know not of this emptiness,

This overwhelming silence that consumes me,

Like a delicious corruption it devours my sanity,

Leaving me lifeless in this unforgiving world,

My wounds left exposed, free for the taking,

So many faces sneer futilely into my sanctuary,

Disparaging humanity at its best,

Delicate emotions discharge profoundly,

Release me from this torment I am bound too,

Or sit back and watch my arduous demise.
