I feel so lost this confusion rips through me,

My fear has boiled beyond my boundaries,

I’m blind to the scattered pieces of us,

I search relentlessly yet cannot see,



Is it that you see past me?



Just when I think I’ve found something,

You simply take it from me,

Could you really feel your wasting time?

There could be another heart out there,



But…. what of mine?



I wish you could find your happiness in me,

And that I could be all those things you need,

I want to be the one that helps you fulfill your dreams,

There may be someone else out there,



But…. why not me?



When the world is overwhelming I want to be where you run,

And when you need a friend I want to be the one,

When your lonely, down, lost  and empty,

There might be others out there,



But…. why not me?
