Tonight I prayed with tears in my eyes,

every ounce of my being desperately cried,

Lord, please protect him, councel his soul,

Forgive his sins, and ease his woes

This man is weary, Lord, supress his pain,

Reassure him all has not been in vain,

Reveal your love lord none else will do,

My love though strong can no longer get through.

I beg your forgiveness for all I have done,

though before I did, I will no longer run,

I have failed again Lord, please show me the way,

I remember my failures, for this I pray,

As i lay my head here to sleep for the night,

I beg of you Lord,help me make things right.
