oh im racing the clouds
the rain it's coming down
and i'm running to find you
i've got to shake these blues

oh and i'm chasing the wind
it's blowing quick between the trees
it stole a note that i made for you
it says i love you
below theres a heart next to my name
what a shame

the day it's coming to an end
it's quiet now since the world's sleeping
i look to the skies
oh how i wonder and sigh

and i notice how the morning sunrise
rises so slow, everything's moving so slow
it means nothing to me
then i think what if you're watching
thinking the same things
i've got to shake these blues
they are old, they are stubborn too

so lately i've been searching for things
i don't know what but they're not coming to me
im just keeping busy
it's making me feel a little dizzy

oh i'm strolling down the street
trying to find the beauty in everything
i use to see but now i don't
i need to find you and get away
away from this place
before they get on my case

i'll grab a taxi
soon enough i'll be on my way
on my way to save the day
im going to try and save your day
