What is a hero, you've wanted to know
Is it someone who is needed wherever they go?
Do they have super powers and fly in the sky?
Are they the kind of people who will never die?
But the answer is simple, and I swear this is true
A hero is someone like me or like you
The smallest action can mean so much
Just think of the lives you could possibly touch
Like helping someone to cross the street
Is a small, but meaningful, heroic feat
Just smiling at someone could brighten their day
A hero is made in the simplest way
So someone might call you a hero someday
Just know that you've helped them in some sort of way
