Just what does the American flag mean to me?
It stands for our country, the land of the free
A piece of cloth that has been through so much
With millions of hearts it has succeeded to touch
The one thing it stands for I believe is so true
To me it is freedom, but what about you?
Be thankful that you live in the country you do
Where you can do what you love, and love what you do
Together, united, we will always stand tall
But never forget what started it all
