STREETS

When I need to clear my mind

I just get in my car and drive

Get lost in the city streets

Zone out to these beats

Speeding with no where to go

Ahead of traffic suddenly all alone

Its late and the streets are empty

Thats when I become lonely

Tempted to pick up the phone

Maybe drop by if your home

"Hey sweets are you busy"

"Would you like some company"

But theres no answer on your end

So I'm back on the streets again

I ride in silence with just my thoughts

Then scribble them down at every stop

Eventually wander back to where I'd begun

Streets give me comfort when nothing else does
