Is it fear I see when I look into these eyes

or it the hate I have buried inside

To think about what is going on in my head

A chill runs through my spine

I grab onto that fear I feel

Consuming the warmth it holds inside

You wonder if you will know the truth

the truth behind this life of mine

I've changed so many times before

to face the pains that challenged me

I grasp the things I was before
