If You Wipe My Tears Away
I'm standing here beyond your reach
Where you can never be
I've built a wall between us
To keep you away from me
You never seem to recognize
That my heart breaks with every cry
Because these feelings I have are hidden
I keep them deep inside
The farther I push myself away
The emptier I feel
As if something is missing inside me
I almost don't believe I'm real
I've built this wall with tears and pain
I thought it was too strong to be destroyed
But if you wipe my tears away with love
It will help to fill this void
The emptiness will soon be gone
And my wall will begin to fade
The pain will ease up on my heart
If you wipe my tears away...

Great and so true to life. A powerful poem, that should be put to music, so that all could relate to it. You have talent to write, I just hope that it doesn't take a broken heart to write with such caliber.
