there's something I'm missing

I know exactly the type of person I have been,
at times I've been a monster,
Please, can you tell me know who I am,

I've been searching all over for a lifeline,
Just a spot to fit in,
God, why don't you just show me a sign,

Looking to share my life but am I just a bore,
Always looking for love,
But this makes me feel like a cheap whore,

I know I'm not invisible, know I'm not phony,
Searching and searching,
I sure hope its not my destiny To be lonely,

By the end of the week, I get spun, I'm woozy,
Looking for my better half,
In this search am I too picky, am I too choosy?

I'm at aww while watching lovers kissing,
They appear as one,
It's the feeling of this oneness I am missing.
