had a big wheel when i was little
up & down the driveway i would whistle
bottom of the driveway i would slide out
this was so cool without a doubt

had a pair of skates when i was young
i felt free it was so much fun
a great joy a feeling i could not fake
every damn day i would skate

after a while i got me a car
drove it everywhere near & far
it took me where i wanted to go
was cool to go real fast or even slow

later on i got me a wife
what a great feeling in ones life
i thought to find someone what a feat
i did not know marriage had a drivers seat
