An Angel came to me last night
And took away my pain
She put her hand to my head
And said "People never change."

"We are born the way we are supposed to be
And we'll die the way we came."
"We think that life changes us
But it's the lives that we do change."

The devil came to me tonight
And took my breath away
He put his hand to my head
And said "People always change"

I told him what the Angel said
Asking what he thought
He said that we make mistakes
And that changes who we are

Then I told the Angel
What the devil came to say
she said that we can make mistakes
or let God lead the way..
