My arms around her,

I don't want to let go,

It's different this time,

But she don't know.



I hope that reality,

Don't hit her way,

As I'm going to fight,

This war today.



"Just like before"

She whispered in my ear,

"You'll be gone for a while,

Than come back for me here."



She knows the truth,

We don't want to admit,

We hold back our tears,

As we try to forget.



I'm going to fight,

someone else's war,

I slid my hands from hers,

And headed to the door.



This countries my family,

I'll do what I can,

And she calls me a hero,

You call me a friend.



Everyone person, everyone,

We'll win this attack,

And because I am a hero,

I might not come back.
