Oh how exciting new land to fulfill,
New things to be seen,
Oh how pleased the king and queen shall be,
Oh how beautiful this land will be,
I've seen many things but not as green as these,
To feel the fresh ocean breeze,
And to over see the seas,
How fascinating!
A man who looks like me,
When we first met eye to eye,
Not knowing anything about thee,
But silently a loom of quiet peace filled me,
I felt safe and calm,
Not jumpy and scared like most of my men,
This man was no threat to me or any of my people,
We all were silently friends,
Oh how beautiful this land will be.
