A is for Africa the home of my ancestors, and all human life.

B is for Beauty as it reflects in my cultural heritage.

C is for the cultural richness of Africa’s spirituality.

D is for Dances of the Motherland proudly depicting daily life.

E is for Economical contributions made or stolen from our culture

F is for Freedom to become slaves of another kind.

G is for the greed of the nations that raped the Mother land.

H is for the hunger of the people driven from their place of birth.

I is for the innocent who trusted those who came to deceive.

J is for the justice that the Motherland will not see.

K is for the over 16 million African slaves who were killed at sea.

L is for the lesson that has yet to be learned, who will bare the shame?

M is for the monumental pain and devastation that has been done.

N is for the neglect of the powers that be who has robbed Africa.

O is for the hearts that have opened to give to help mend the shame.

P is for the prosperity that has began to be recognized by few.

Q is for the quest for Africa’s free trade so there will be growth.

R is for the revival of the Holy Spirit throughout Africa.

S is for the saved whose faith is ever strong and spreading ever still.

T is for their trust in God’s will to see the wrong made right.

U is for the united prayers, which gives hope for the future good.

V is for the victory that God has given those who are among the living.

W is for God’s word that has kept the spirits strong to continue on.

X is for what can we lean if Africa is x-rayed?

Y is for the youth of Africa, which is the hope of her future to come.

Z is for the zeal of all whom seek to bring truth to the world of Africa’s status!

This is an account of my feelings of Africa, the Motherland. She has been raped and forgotten at times, but she still rises from the devastation with prayers, hope, and faith in God. There is still much work and help needed. We give and pray as we are able...
