verse 1 once god looked down from his home on high

        and saw sinner who was condemed  to die

        twas then he proved his boundless love for

        me his love for me the spirit  told me that

      i was lost undone and led me to trust in christ





verse 2 for me he died there on calvry and shed his

        life's blood upon the cruel tree, then rose

       again the victor o'er the grave he is my savior

     and evermore shall be surely he"ll intercede for me





chrous and there i"ll sing praises to his more shall be

       and surely he'll intercede for me i trust his won

       derous name to jesus who bore my guilt and shame

       until that love and his grace his power to save

        his power to save  I know christ dwell within

    i trust him to keep me all the way i know he will

    lead me to safetly to the goal safety to the goal .
