why do i have to be homeless

what did i do to deserve this

i am really scared

i have never been homeless before

i want to live in a home

so i don't get sick

or end up getting hurt

i don't like this one bit



i feel dirty and nasty

i am hungry all the time

does this always happen to good people



sleeping in parks

getting wet when the sprinklers come on

being cold and uncomfortable

not safe

feeling scared

up all night because i can't sleep
