by Jeph Johnson
She no longer sees through blindness
She no longer breathes
Devotion failed and veiled her kindness
Smothering her belief
She no longer feels a comfort
She no longer craves
Victory in Christ triumphant
Freedom as a slave
She no longer walks the narrow path
Through pearly gates
She no longer tempts her Father's wrath
With thoughts of hate
She no longer hungers daily
She no longer thirsts
The bread of life grew stale
And blessed holy water's cursed
She no longer has a Saviour
She no longer sins
She redefines her vile behavior
And still hopes to get in...
