this twilight agenda
speaks for others
screaming agreement
in droves
optimism can sparkle
when eyes meet
yet with stone stares
pessimism retreats
back to the pavement
under my feet
I suppose
I parade unnoticed
unfulfilled and incomplete
distracted by the sight inside
perceived dilemmas of another
disbelief in the darkness
I now reside
ignorance of the light
I've escaped
nothing seems right because
everything is wrong where I am
everything is wrong where I was
Yes, this is a beautiful piece of work. One to be proud of. I read again, and find it even more spectacular than the first time around. Beautiful words, beautiful reflection. I love this piece!
Ok, I wasn't going to open my mouth, but it is hard for me to swallow that you are the same guy that wrote repugnant filth~ This is an absolutle wonderful poem, would like to see you step up to your potential, here! Quit wasting your time (and ours) with things like repugnant filth when you could be producing work to be proud of!
