Slivers of light,

shine above the hills.

It's daybreak,

and were still not asleep.

Lying in your arms,

hearing your heartbeat,

feeling your skin against mine.

I feel like I'm in a dream.

But as day breaks,

and I feel your lips pressed against mine,

I know I'm awake.

Time spent with you,

makes me never want to sleep again.
