October 2003 Poetry Everyday I yearn for you,
to walk by this park bench where I sit.
The smell of your cologne,
makes my heart skip a beat.
I watch your every move,
every step, every stride,
and wish you'd turn back,
and walk by once more.
But you don't,
you just keep walking on.
As I only sit and wait for tomorrow,
when you'll walk by again.
