October 2003 Poetry Do you know what it's like to miss someone
so much that you can't breathe?
To just stand there and cry until your weak,
till you fall on your knees?
Do you know what it's like to love someone,
without being loved in return?
With feelings so intense and strong,
that your soul begins to burn?
Do you know what it's like to talk to someone,
without being able to say what's in your heart?
Not wanting to ruin the very friendship,
that's tearing yourself apart.
Do you know what's it's like to stay or go?
Or just not know what to do?
Believe me baby, I sure know,
cause I'm still in love with you.

Very well done. I myself have gone through this exact situation. Though I'm fortunate enough to have found enough ways to get over them to actually succeed. :) Though I'm sure you know well by now, you have quite a talent with words and expressing yourself with them. *Bows* I'm impressed. :D
