Love Is No Thought

March 2003 Poetry Love is no thought,
but an emotion in your soul.
And when you give your heart to another,
your whole being goes as well.
All of you,
is all of them.
Love is no thought,
but a feeling that is rare.
You can touch it, see it,
taste it, be it.
Love is no thought,
but a known.
And I say it’s no thought,
because you can THINK,
that you love a person.
But that’s not enough to base a lifetime,
of sharing each other,
and being as one.
Why base a love on an unknown thought?
Love is a known.
You’ll feel it.
You’ll see it,
as will others.
And most of all,
you’ll know.
