Dancin' Till Dawn

Folder:
March 2003 Poetry

Dancin’ till dawn,

arms around each other tight.

Under the bright shining stars,

middle of the night.

~

No one else around.

No music to be heard,

but the beat of our hearts,

and love in our words.

~

Time flies by quickly,

and soon the sun rises.

Birds sing their morning songs,

with the sky in its disguises.

~

Colors fill the air,

clouds of all different shades.

The tide comes in,

and plays natures maid.

~

We’re still dancing,’ still lovin’

still in each other’s arms,

the rain starts falling,

but nature does no harm.

~

We could dance eternity away,

without a single thought,

but the ones of each other,

what a love we’ve got.
