No matter how hard I try,

I just can’t stop loving you.

This relationship is going downhill,

but I don’t know what to do.

You don’t call for a month,

and expect me to be okay.

But inside I feel like dying,

as I count and watch each day.

~

I wanted to walk away,

but something told me no.

Each time I picked up the phone.

I knew I couldn’t let you go.

~

Love wasn’t meant to be easy,

especially this we know.

But we have lots of time,

to watch our young love grow.

~

Distance and time divide us,

but love makes us strong.

We just work through the hard times,

and try to carry on.

~

Don’t think my love’s diminishing.

That’s not the case at all.

I just need to know you’ll be there,

if I should happen to fall.

~

I love you with all my heart,

and that’s something you should know.

Cause times are hard, but we both know,

not to let each other go.

~

Someday we’ll both be satisfied,

hope time goes by real fast,

so we’re holding each other under the stars,

till then, let’s make this last.
