My awakening began,

with a letter from you.

We almost lost,

all we had.

I didn’t realize,

how much I truly loved you,

and how much you really meant to me,

till I almost lost you.

My whole world,

came crashing down,

right before my very eyes.

And through the dust and rubble,

I got my awakening.

I don’t know what I’d do,

without you in my life.

Next time I awaken,

I hope it’s by your side.
