Cling To Life

Folder:
June 2002 Poetry

Minute by minute,

pass by,

and I sit and wonder,

if you’re still clinging to life,

or if you’ve let go.

Minutes turn to hours,

still no word,

on your condition.

I hope and pray,

that you’re doing ok,

and that you’re still,

clinging to life.

Don’t give up on me.

This is a battle,

I know you can win.

Cling to life,

don’t let go.

Just hold on,

it will all be ok,

in the end.
