I was too deaf to hear,

too blind to see.

And all the things you said,

didn't get through to me.

You were slowly fading,

how could I let you slip away?

And time is running out,

are the last words I heard you say.

Those words were true,

and so are these I say.

I feel so bad for letting go,

I let you slip away.
