Memories of you,

I keep tucked inside my heart.

Although the sky is in between us,

and Heaven and Earth remain apart.

I miss you very much,

and I wish you were still here.

But I will keep your memories,

Yes, I will draw them near.

~

Your body may not be present,

but your spirit stands close by.

And at times when I think about you,

the tears flow from my eyes.

~

I will always think about you,

and the love that you still bring.

And envision you dancing on clouds above,

with beautiful Angel wings.

~

My memories of you,

will never go away.

They are stuck with me forever,

and they are here to stay.

~

At times I feel your presence,

your arms wrapped around me tight.

And the glowing essence of your spirit,

is shining brightly in the night.

~

People say I’m crazy,

when I tell them you’re still here.

And that it is your spirit,

I hope they do not fear.

~

I will see you again someday,

but it’s never soon enough.

And in my heart I know, be strong,

I gotta hang on and be tough.

~

You are in the sea of Heaven now,

a shimmering ethereal Angel.

Just remember you’ll see me when my life’s journey ends,

and my ship will then set sail.
