The winds sweep across the plains of my soul,

as the rain drops onto my heart.

This storm is raging inside me,

whenever we’re apart.

I’m lost inside without you.

No one’s here to help guide the way.

But your words of wisdom soothe me,

and help me through each day.

The more I wish to hold you,

the more I ache inside.

I’ve changed so much since I’ve known you,

my feelings no longer hide.

~

I don’t know where I’d be without you,

and the love you give each day.

Wishing to finally see you,

is what I hope and pray.

~

I asked God to grand me,

this one request I make.

To not give up on our love,

and help me not forsake.

~

I think God answered my prayers,

when he sent me you.

He helped me not to give up,

and see a love so true.

~

I’ll love you all my life,

there is doubt in my mind.

Because there is no one else on earth like you.

You are one of a kind.
