To most,

a tear represents pain and sorrow.

And that you cry,

when you are sad.

But that’s not all a tear stands for.

When I think of you,

and how happy you make me,

or how madly, deeply, and truly I am,

in love with you,

tears fall from my eyes,

in the form of happiness.

Those tears,

are the only tears I’d like to cry,

for eternity.

And as long as you’re in my life,

that’s all the tears I’ll shed.
