Pain and sorrow,

filled my heart.

And in my soul I felt as though,

I was being torn apart.

I crawled up in the corner,

and all I did was cry.

I couldn't take it anymore,

I wanted just to die.

~

I was ready to leave this world,

to leave it all behind.

But didn't know as I talked to you,

the real love I would find.

~

I felt something so special

between you and I that night.

Feelings I have felt before,

but this time felt so right.

~

You showed me how to love again.

You showed me you could care.

You told me there would be hard times,

and life just isn't fair.

~

You helped me to forget,

the pain caused in the past.

And now I know that me and you,

share a love that will forever last.

~

I know deep in my heart,

that you love me so.

And I love you too.

I just thought that you should know.
