Just Like Me

Folder:
2001 Poetry

I crawl into the darkness,

so black and full of despair.

I scream and no one hears me.

The ground feels cold and bare.

~

Nothing like the sight of you,

can bring me to this mood.

You walk away as I cry on your shoulder,

I never thought you'd be so rude.

~

You will never imagine yourself this way.

Silence is now a sound.

You'll scream and no one will hear you,

as you fall on to the ground.

~

Just like me,

you'll sit and stare.

Talking to yourself,

because no one is there.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this on 3-15-01. At the time I felt very alone and it's also about my mom.
